Our Story – Phuket Home Décor & Teak Furniture Since 2003
Zee Zee Interior was founded in 2003 by Barang Squared Co., Ltd., growing from a bold entrepreneurial vision into one of Phuket's most respected names in interior furnishings and home décor. Based in Phuket and serving clients across Thailand, we specialise in luxury teak furniture, handcrafted homewares, and bespoke hospitality furnishings for villas, boutique hotels, and private residences.
The company has its roots in the pioneering work of Christopher James Garrard (Jim), one of the earliest foreign entrepreneurs to recognise the extraordinary quality of Indonesian craftsmanship and bring it to a global audience. Over more than two decades, Jim built an industry-defining portfolio, establishing trade routes and sourcing relationships across Indonesia that placed authentic, handcrafted homewares into luxury properties around the world.
With that legacy secured, Jim relocated to Phuket Island with his family to establish a family office. Together with his wife Julalak Garrard (Mam), Zee Zee Interior was born — a natural evolution of everything the family had learned about quality materials, artisan relationships, and what truly elevates a space in Thailand's tropical environment.
From a single showroom in Phuket, Zee Zee Interior has grown to serve interior designers, villa developers, boutique resort operators, and hotel groups across Thailand — from Phuket and Samui to Bangkok and beyond. What began as a family passion for authentic craft has become the island's most trusted source for tropical-inspired furnishings.
