The Thai Sensibility
Traditional Thai interiors tend toward ornament, gilt accents, silk, and a more formal decorative language. They can be beautiful but they read as distinctly Thai and can feel ceremonial in a relaxed villa setting.
The Tropical Sensibility
Tropical style is more relaxed and organic: heavier timber, woven texture, an indoor-outdoor flow, and a comfort with imperfection. It tends to suit holiday villas and resorts because it feels like an exhale rather than a statement.
Blending the Two

Choosing for Your Project
